В чем разница между work и job Слово “работа”, как физический труд, или выполнение функции в русском языке ничем не отличается от “работы”, на которую надо ходить каждый день. В отличие от русского, в английском для этого применяют два разных существительных. Труд, выполнение задач и функциональных обязанностей Work [wɜ:rk] - это слово следует применять, когда описывается выполнение какой-то конкретной задачи, трудовой функции, предполагающей определенный объем действий. Факт получения вознаграждения за работу значения не имеет. Например: He always starts his work at 9 am. Он всегда начинает работать в 9 утра. He still has a lot of work to do. У него до сих пор очень много работы, которую надо сделать. Профессия, офис, оплачиваемый функционал В контексте разговора о какой-то оплачиваемой функции, месте куда необходимо прибыть для осуществления труда или профессии используется термин job [dʒɒb]. Например: I love my job. Я люблю свою работу. My job is interesting....

ReplyDeleteI don't think that time traveling is possible...and as for this article, there are many disputes about it. Some people claim that this article is false and somebody just made the story up. But the other say that it can't happen in such a famous paper. So, I don't know who is right. Actually, it doesn't matter :)
ReplyDeleteSo, what about time traveling? It's impossible, I think. I can't even imagine how it could be??? You are in 2013 now and after some time you are in 2080, for example...You look at other people, 'new' people if I can say so...But what happened to 'old' people? what happened to me, to my family? have we stuck in 2013? but how can it be possible? so, you see that there are a lot of questions) to be honest, my mind even is not able to accept this idea...it's really difficult for me...)
I hope that you understood what I wanted to say) In short, I don't believe that we are able to 'go' to another year. BUT it's a good idea for fantastic films and books)
In theory, time travel is possible, because the speed of light is constant, if you were to travel closer towards the speed of light, time itself would slow down in relation to a stationary observor in order to preserve the law of nature that the speed of light,

I can’t imagine the existence of time traveling. I think it isn’t necessary because people should live in their designated time, study the past in books and imagine the future. There is a version that if you change the past, the present strongly changes.
ReplyDeleteI think that nowadays it isn't possible. But our technologies are developing very impetuously and, perhaps, in the future some scientist will create the time machine, for example, or another way for time traveling... :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think that time travelling is possible for people. I know that there are many hypotheses about temporal paradoxes. Kip Thorne, an american theoretical physicist, conducted scientific research on existence of classical, traversable wormholes and "time machines". And his recent calculations showed that simple masses passing through traversable wormholes could never engender paradoxes, that there are solutions of some time traveling paradoxes. So maybe some things can be sent to the past or to the future.
ReplyDeleteNo, despite many facts of prediction the future and any other things connecting with time travelling it's impossible because there are too many options in predicting where the molecule is going to move, and to say for sure is impossible. And to travel through the time is possible is only prediction the direction of the molecules and its farther moves which doubles the options.
ReplyDeleteHmm, actually, now it's really difficult to imagine time travels. As for me, the most interesting conception how such travels could be realized is shown in the film "Back to the future". The main idea is that there can be an infinite number of futures and one's position in this futures depends on his or her deeds in the past.
ReplyDeleteHowever, as most written above, I guess that time travelling isn't possible for people. "Time" is unexplored shpere yet and we hardly can explain what "time" means.
