It's a famous sculpture “Gran Elefandret” by a Spanish artist Miquel Barcelo. Miquel was born in 1957, he is the son of landscape artist. Now this sculpture is situated in Union Square, New York, USA. It's made of bronze. Its height is 26 foots and weight is about 5 tons. And it can never fall down because there is a metal pipe that is camouflaged as the trunk.
The artist of this sculpture Miquel Barcelo said: "I always say it's a self portrait, because it's like an artist in difficult times- we're always balancing on our trunks."
